108x Hanuman Chalisa

  • Neem Karoli Baba Bhakti Dham 10239 Charissglen Circle Highlands Ranch, CO 80203 USA (map)

We are excited to come together to sing Hanuman Chalisa for guru purnima and we invite you to join us! We will be singing Hanuman Chalisa 108x and you’re welcome to join for some or all of the event.

Come and listen, sing and meditate. Feel free to offer a chalisa, sing along, and/or sit in meditation.

On this particular day— our 108x chalisas is an offering to the guru. It’s an opportunity to connect to your Bhakti and an opportunity to open and rest in your heart. We offer our chanting, presence and Bhakti to the guru— the guru Neem Karoli Baba, to the guru inside each of us and to all the gurus you may have in your life. In the simplest way we can say Guru is “the remover of darkness” but the meaning, presence and gift of the guru can be talked about more deeply.

In tropical landscapes, orchids can be attached to trees and they use the tree for nutrient to both grow and thrive. Like this we can attach ourselves to beings who evolved their consciousness in such a way that by connecting to them we are effortlessly lifted up by them. We of course can root into the ground and do it on own but we can also root into a guru’s consciousness and through them we grow and thrive— like the orchid who uses the tree. We can root into Krishna consciousness, Jesus Conscious, and of course Hanuman— Neem Karoli Baba Consciousness. It’s the grace of the guru we are not alone—we are held, cared and loved for. “I will never let you go” — Neem Karoli Baba We have put some resources together on the guru Kripa path on the Resource page.

There’s many cushions and chairs but as our events have grown to ensure you have a seat feel free to bring a cushion. There’s copies of the chalisas to share.
